Pelvic Floor Health
Incontinence is a sensitive topic, yet it is a common issue for adults as we age, impacting our confidence and quality of life. Many lifestyle factors influence the weakening of our pelvic floor muscles, the group of muscles supporting our bladder, bowel and reproductive organs. Postural issues, pregnancy, menopause, prostate problems, prolonged sitting, heavy lifting and excess body weight may lead to pelvic instability and compromised bladder control. Generally, Kegel exercises are prescribed but they are often ineffective and can worsen the problem if not done properly. Loss of muscle memory is the issue we need to address but isolating the pelvic floor on our own is very difficult. Especially when we are already weak and overwhelmed with the desire to fix the problem. Let us help you jumpstart your way to greater pelvic floor health with this targeted technology.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is incontinence?
Stress Incontinence
Refers to the involuntary leakage of urine that occurs when pressure is applied to the bladder. This condition may be aggravated by activities such as coughing, laughing, sneezing or physical exercise.
Urge Incontinence
This is characterized by a sudden and compelling need to urinate, often resulting in frequent bathroom visits, sleep disruption and the need for supportive products.
Mixed Incontinence
A combination of both stress and urge incontinence.
Bowel Incontinence (Involuntary loss of bowel control)
Unintentional loss of stool during coughing or flatulence. An abrupt and uncontrollable need to defecate and a lack of awareness prior to experiencing fecal incontinence.
Why Uromaxx?
The efficacy of this treatment lies in its ability to deeply penetrate and stimulate the entire pelvic floor region. During a single session, patients experience thousands of contractions that would be unattainable through voluntary effort alone.
How many sessions should I anticipate?
Ideally a series of 8 sessions, thirty minutes each, scheduling twice per week. Your series will include self-care exercises to maintain optimal results along with periodic follow-up sessions every three to six months.
How will my treatment feel?
You are seated the entire time. You will feel a slight pulsing sensation as the device delivers the therapy. Your provider will be advancing and modifying each session to ensure it is both effective and comfortable.
When will I see results?
You may notice immediate enhancement following just one session. Most patients notice significant improvement after 3-4 sessions, with optimal results by the end of a full course of treatment.
Will it help with sexual dysfunction?
By prompting the brain to dispatch additional nutrients to the tissues and strengthen muscle fibers through fragmentation, thereby enhancing circulation to the pelvic region which can lead to improvements in sexual arousal, orgasmic response and erectile performance.
